AVT are a re-seller for Wharton electronics who have specialised in the design and manufacture of LED digital clock systems, calendar clock, world clocks, time zone clock displays and precision master clock systems since 1974 and supply what is probably the widest available range of electronic clocks for professional applications.
These high quality products are in use in time and reliability critical applications in every part of the world. These applications include banking and the financial markets, broadcasting, civilian and military command and control, industrial processes, power generation, research, security, sports, telecommunications and every type of transportation system.
Basic time displays
These units are available with 20mm, 50mm, 100mm, 120mm, 170mm and 220mm characters, and in red, green, yellow and blue.
Calendar Clocks
These units are available with 50mm (2") or 120mm (4.7") characters and in red, green, yellow and blue.
Time zone clocks
It is generally recommended for larger spaces that Green LED’s are used due to the ease of visibility.
Displays can be wall mounted or ceiling suspended - single or double sided.

Installation and configuration.
Unlike almost all our other products, the installation and configuration of time displays requires additional engineering skills which AVT have a long proven track record in providing.
In many newer offices, time displays need to be ceiling mounted. For projects of this type, we will build a unistrut framework above the false ceiling to hang the displays. We can provide all the relevant site documentation and are happy to liaise with the building services and electrical teams on your behalf.
Synchronisation receivers need to be either roof mounted, or located in an area where the signal strength is sufficient to ensure total accuracy of the time outputs.
When a client orders time displays from AVT, we undertake a site survey, provide recommendations as to the optimum method for implementation – and are happy to provide all the engineering resource needed to ensure a safe and successful installation.
